## The complaint you never saw

Most developers do not file a support ticket; they vent where their peers are. That thread costs you twice: the frustrated developer, and everyone who reads the thread later. Negative mentions arrive tagged with sentiment, priority and category, so a broken-webhook rant surfaces above a lukewarm aside, and nothing needs you to be watching Reddit at 2am.

## Close the loop in public

Route the thread to engineering, then reply where it happened once it is fixed. A public fix on a public complaint is the cheapest trust you will ever buy: the original poster sees it, and so does everyone who finds the thread from a search for years afterwards. Triage states (seen, replied, ignored) keep the queue honest about what is actually handled.

## Frequently asked questions

### How does the prioritisation work?

Your filtering model scores every mention for sentiment, priority, relevance and category. High-priority negatives surface first, and the sentiment can be overridden by hand when the model reads a sarcastic thread wrong.

### Can mentions reach the team where they work?

Yes: webhook destinations push signals to Slack, Discord or any JSON endpoint, and the API plus MCP server let you wire mentions into any internal tooling.

### What happens to mentions I ignore?

Ignoring is a triage state, not a deletion: the signal stays on record for reporting, and repeat noise can be silenced with exclude terms or the global ignore lists.
