Your data flows on your keys
Sources and AI models are accessed with your own API keys, not a shared central account. Provider keys are workspace-scoped, encrypted at rest, decrypted server-side only at the moment of use, and never sent to the browser or logged.
No training, no resale
Your workspace content is never used to train AI models, and we never resell content or per-person data. The business is the subscription, not your data.
Workspace isolation
Every workspace is isolated with row-level security in the database, enforced on every query, not just in application code.
Roles with least privilege
Four roles, checked in the server layer rather than hidden buttons: viewers see everything and change nothing, members triage the inbox, admins manage keywords, integrations and the team, and only the owner touches billing, role changes and workspace deletion. Nobody can escalate their own role.
Invites an admin approves
Joining is a link you share yourself, never an email blast. Opening it creates a pending request with zero access to workspace data until an owner or admin approves it, so a leaked invite link cannot leak your signals.
Nothing covert, ever
BackTalk never posts as you, never joins communities you do not own, and never monitors private spaces. Every reply happens on the native platform, by a human on your team, via deep link.
